Brown County Bomb Threat Suspect Self-Surrenders

BROWN COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A Brown County woman has self-surrendered after allegedly making multiple bomb threats at her place of employment.

Gwendolyn Fay Hays was taken into custody on two counts of Terroristic Threat for making bomb threats at the 3M plant in Brownwood. A press release she was temporarily employed there. 

Investigators have been trying to connect Hays to these threats for some time, and on June 1, 2017, they were able to get enough evidence, including positive voice identification and data that linked her cell phone to dispatch calls about the threat, to issue arrest warrants for Hays.
