Coleman Police Department arrest 5, seize firearms and drugs

COLEMAN, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - According to the Coleman Police Department's Facebook page, officers with the department, along with the Coleman County Sheriff's Office, Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens and the Texas Highway Patrol assisted in executing a search warrant that led to the arrest of 5 people and the seizure of multiple firearms and narcotics.

On August 24th, 2017, Officers of the Coleman Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of Blanco Street.

Seizures resulting from the search included several firearms, large quantities of packaging materials, illegally possessed prescription narcotics, LSD, Marijuana and 329.5 grams of Methamphetamine.

Persons arrested at the scene were:

Charles Duquette, 51, charged with Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Tampering with Physical Evidence.


Danette Croft, 49, charged with Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

Samuel Croft, 49, charged with Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance.


Christopher Andrews, 26, charged with Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon and Tampering with Physical Evidence.


Melinda Kay McKinley, 54, Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon.


Bond total for all charges are $280,000.

Coleman County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens and Texas Highway Patrol assisted the Coleman Police Department in the execution of the search warrant.
