Donation account created for Clyde first-responder killed in Sunday crash

NOLAN COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A donation account has been established for the widow and children of a Clyde first-responder killed in a crash in Nolan County on Sunday. 

The Abilene Police Officer's Association created an account at First Financial Bank to benefit Dianna Arndt, the wife of recently-deceased medical helicopter pilot Stephen Arndt. The account number is 02110144967 and the routing number is 111301122.  

Account transfers, cash, or checks made out to Dianna Arndt or the Abilene Police Officer's Association will be accepted, and anyone who wishes to donate online can do so at this link. A 2.9% processing fee will be added at checkout. Dianna is an employee of the Abilene Police Department. 

Arndt was killed in a two-vehicle accident on US 84 in Roscoe Sunday morning. He leaves behind his wife Dianna and two little girls.

His funeral will take place at the Church of the Nazarene at 2522 US Hwy 377 in Stephenville on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. followed by a burial service at the Erath Gardens of Memory at 6811 US Hwy 377. 

The second driver involved in the crash, Bobby Mack Moody, 85, lost his life upon impact as well.
