El Paso Police Department: Woman walked into police station, placed meth on counter

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - It may have been the easiest drug bust in El Paso Police Department history on Tuesday. That's when police say a 41-year-old woman walked into the Westside police station and just handed them over seven grams of meth.

Shelly Grzywacz, 41, walked into the Westside Police station around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning to speak to police about 'crime issues.' Officers allegedly noticed that Grzywacz appeared intoxicated and offered to help her get home.

She allegedly agreed to allow officers to help her get home and then continued to pull three zip lock baggies from her right front pocket and place them on the counter. The three zip lock baggies allegedly contained 7.28 grams of methamphetamine.

At that point, police were forced to place Grzywacz under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 1 over 4 grams and under 200 grams. She was booked into the El Paso County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.
