FBI to announce charges connected to college basketball corruption

NEW YORK (KETK) - The Federal Bureau of Investigation will hold a press conference on Tuesday to announce charges of fraud and corruption in college basketball.

Federal criminal charges have been brought against 10 people, including four Division I college basketball coaches, as well as managers, financial advisors and representatives of a major international sportswear company.

According to NBC News, arrests were made by the FBI across the country last night.

A press conference featuring Joon H. Kim, Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York and William F. Sweeney, Assistant Director-in-Charge of the New York Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, will take place at 11:00 a.m., at the Southern District of New York U.S. Attorney’s Office.
