Indicted: Abilene man accused of sexually assaulting mentally disabled teen

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - An Abilene man accused of sexually assaulting a mentally disabled teen has been indicted

Larry Doescher, 42, was indicted on one count of Aggravated Sexual Assault. He was initially arrested in September and remains jailed on a $100,000 bond.

Court documents state the victim, whose mother says is 17 but is autistic and has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old, went to an apartment to look for her friend in July of 2017.

During a forensic interview, the victim told detectives her friend wasn't there, but her friend's father, Doescher, was, and the documents state he invited her inside then forced her onto the bed, removed her clothing, held her down, and sexually assaulted her.

The victim also said that during the sexual assault, Doescher told her that this "is what she will do when she gets older", according to the documents.
