Indicted: Abilene Woman Admits to Setting Boyfriend's Truck on Fire After Dispute

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - An Abilene woman accused of setting her boyfriend's truck on fire has been indicted.

A Taylor County Grand Jury indicted Jazmin Rockuemore, 21, on an arson charge in connection to an incident that happened in September of 2015.

Court documents say Rockuemore set her boyfriend's truck on fire in the alley behind a home on the 1600 block of Victoria Street after a dispute.

After waiving her right to remain silent, "Rockuemore stated that she got a rag, immersed it in oil, stuck it in the vehicle's gas tank, ignited it, and watched it burn," according to the documents.

She is behind held in the Taylor County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
