Indicted: CPS investigation reveals Abilene infant tests positive for methamphetamine

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - An Abilene man arrested after a CPS investigation revealed an infant in his care tested positive for methamphetamine has been indicted.

During a Grand Jury session Thursday, Zachary Fowler, 19, was indicted on one count of Endangering a Child in connection to an investigation that began in May of 2017. 

Court documents state a hair follicle tests conducted on both Fowler and the infant as part of a CPS investigation returned positive for methamphetamine. 

"Witness statements also indicate that [the infant] was exposed to meth pipes, smoke, and paraphilia [sic] by Zachary Fowler," according to the documents.
