TYE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A man accused of carjacking his boss then committing an armed robbery in the Metroplex was arrested in Tye Wednesday evening.
After the carjacking and armed robbery, the Arlington Police Department alerted authorities statewide that the suspect, Ivan Orono--Guzman, could be traveling west down Interstate-20.
The Tye Police Department and other agencies later located and arrested Orono-Guzman at gunpoint at the Flying J in Tye around 6:30 p.m. after witnesses called police and reported he was acting suspicious.
Electronics and an undisclosed amount of cash was found in his vehicle, according to Tye Police.
Orono-Guzman is now being held in the Taylor County Jail on a $5,000 bond for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and an Immigration warrant.
Tye Police told KTAB and KRBC Orono-Guzman will also be facing additional charges in Tarrant County.
