ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Counterfeit cash is circulating around Abilene once again - just five days after the last report.
Police reports say counterfeit cash was passed at locations on the 2700 block of N. 1st Street, the 5100 block of Taos Drive, and the 1300 block of Barrow Street on Sunday.
Different bills were passed at all three locations. Two counterfeit $5 bills were passed at the first location, a counterfeit $20 bill was passed at the 2nd locations, and a $100 bill that read "for movie use only" was passed at the third location.
It's unclear if any of the cases are related.
Last week, police investigated three additional counterfeit cash cases.
