Moving to a different beat; How an Abilene man is using dance to spread a special message

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB) - An Abilene man is hoping to use the art of dance to help local children battling bullying.

Mo Mosley started up the U-Teen dance crew for younger children and is hoping to do the same for older kids.

"We are just spreading a positive message through kids and through their entertainment and talents," stated Mosley. "That way they will hold the attention of the other kids and they will say hey that's pretty cool."

Mosley says he is hoping to take the crew to Abilene schools next year to spread positivity to others.

"I want to try and get the city behind me. I want to go to the city council, I want to go to the mayor's office. I want to get AISD behind us. My plan is to have these kids perform at schools during the school year," Mosley said.

Right now the crew is practicing once a week at the Lee Boys and Girls Club located on North 10th and Pioneer.

Mosley says he is looking for a lot more dancers to come join his crew.

You can call him at 325-300-0867.
