Mystery millionaire still hasn't claimed $14.25 million lottery ticket, HEB gets check

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Nearly 3 months after a $14.25 million lottery ticket was sold at Abilene's HEB, the winner still hasn't come forward.

However, HEB is cashing-in on their prize. The Texas Lottery Commission will present a $142,696 check to the store at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday - a portion of which will be donated to the Noah Project.

A press release from the Texas Lottery Commission states "Customer Appreciation Day" and "Spin to Win" will be taking place during Wednesday's event at HEB from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The winning numbers for the Lotto Texas® on June 17, 2017, were 3 4 6 23 34 54.

The purchaser of the winning ticket selected the cash value option at the time of purchase and will receive $10,072,040.86 once the prize is claimed.

Lottery officials say the prize must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date.
