Police: Suspect arrested after firing shots in central Abilene, holding resident at gunpoint

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A suspect is behind bars for allegedly firing shots in central Abilene while holding a resident at gunpoint Monday afternoon. 

Jesse Felix was taken into custody at the scene where the shots were fired just before 1:00 p.m. Police say he will be charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault.

Abilene police told KTAB and KRBC Felix pulled a gun on a resident inside a home on the 1400 block of N. 2nd Street and fired at least one round, which struck a vehicle.

No additional information about the crime has been released.
