Report: Accused Abilene Prostitute Busted by Undercover Cop in Middle of Afternoon

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - An Abilene woman is behind bars for prostitution after she was busted by an undercover police officer Tuesday afternoon.

Brenda Walker, 53, is now being held in the Taylor County Jail on bonds totaling $6,000 for the Prostitution charge and an outstanding drug warrant.

Walker's arrest report says she "offered to perform sexual acts with an undercover agent for money compensation" when this agent contacted her at the Butternut Corridor near the 300 block of S. 14th Street around 4:45 p.m.

The report also claims Walker later confessed to prostitution during an interview with detectives.

No further information was provided in the report.
