Report: Armed suspects rob sleeping victims during Abilene home invasion

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Two Abilene women say they were robbed at gunpoint during a reported home invasion while they were sleeping Tuesday night. 

A report filed with the Abilene Police Department states 3 unknown suspects forced their way into the victims' home on the 2400 block of Westmoreland Street just before midnight.

The victims told police one of the suspects held them at gunpoint, demanded dope and money, then took several items, including a purse, a backpack, a cell phone, an Abilene high school class ring, another ring, a jacket, an ID, and a necklace, before fleeing the scene. 

The total value of stolen items is just under $600. No suspects have been identified in connection to this crime.
