Report: Suspects Kick-in Door to Abilene Home, Resident Assaulted

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - An Abilene man was assaulted by three suspects who forced their way inside his home Monday night, according to a police report.

The report filed with the Abilene Police Department says three unknown suspects dressed in all black, wearing bandanas over their faces forced their way inside a home on the 3000 block of S. 2nd Street just before 7:30 p.m.

The suspects then held a resident at gunpoint and demanded money, but when they found out the resident didn't have any money, they forced him onto the ground and began stomping on him and kicking him, according to the report.

The report claims the suspects then fled the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital to receive treatment for the swelling and bruising on his face from the assault.
