Reward offered for information leading to Eastland man's arrest

EASTLAND, Texas (KRBC/KTAB) - Up to a $1,000 reward is being offered by the Eastland Police Department for information leading to the arrest of one man.

This follows an incident on September 18, 2017, when police received a report of a man, identified as Travis Michael Kempe, chasing a vehicle through Eastland while pointing a pistol at the vehicle's occupants.

Kempe then ran his vehicle into the other, causing a collision. When all parties then continued on toward Highway 6 near Cisco.

Kempe's vehicle was eventually found abandoned in Cisco

Eastland police obtained warrants for Kempe on two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. He also has other warrants already outstanding for Criminal Mischief Over $750 and 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
