Several arrests made in Abilene drug bust

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Seven arrests were made after Abilene police executed a search warrant Friday afternoon, according to an Abilene Police Department arrest report. 

Abilene police executed the warrant at an apartment complex on North Jefferson Drive, according to the report. Contact was made with seven individuals seen smoking marijuana in plain view. 

27 grams of marijuana were seized from the residence, according to the report.

Those arrested are as follows (From the top left-right of picture above):

  • Essence Roddy
  • Jerel Mathis
  • Justin King
  • Mary White

Two arrests were also made in a separate incident early Friday morning in the 1800 block of Summit Road, according to the release.

Abilene police executed a search warrant where contact was made with two individuals inside a vehicle at the residence.

Kody Stone was found in possession of one gram of marijuana and under a gram of methamphetamine, according to the report. Additionally, scales and packaging materials were found inside the residence, along with more methamphetamine and was set up in a way that was indicative of distribution of the illegal narcotics.

Kathryn Crouch was found in possession of over a gram of marijuana, and cyclobenzaprime pills, without a prescription. Crouch was also in unlicensed possession of a firearm, according to the report.
