'Active Shooter' Situation Prompted Overnight Lockdown at Dyess AFB

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A reported "active shooter" situation prompted a lockdown at Dyess Air Force base overnight.

Dyess Air Force Base officials notified the public about the shooting via Facebook around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday morning with the following post: 

An all-clear was given about two hours later and the lockdown was lifted.
