Suspect charged for death of man who fell from Abilene balcony

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A suspect is facing multiple charges for the death of a man who fell from an Abilene balcony in March of 2016.

Daniel Pack, 28, is being held in the Taylor County Jail on a $50,000 bond for Manslaughter and Criminal Negligent Homicide in connection to the death of Robert Glen Jackson. A Taylor County Grand Jury indicted Pack on these charges in June of 2017, but he wasn't taken into custody until until Friday. 

Court documents state Pack is accused of killing Jackson by "striking him on and about the head with his hand, causing him to fall from a 2nd story balcony, striking his head on the ground."

No further information on this crime has been disclosed.
