Suspect uses sledgehammer in attempted break-in at Abilene pharmacy

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A sledgehammer was used during an attempted break-in at an Abilene pharmacy early Tuesday morning. 

An unknown suspect dressed in all black used the sledgehammer to make a small hole in the glass of James McCoy Drug Store on Antilley Road around 1:30 a.m., according to a report filed with the Abilene Police Department.

The report states the suspect, who fled the scene before police arrived, put his hand in the hole to pull on a glass panel but was unable to get inside. 

No further information on this attempted break-in has been provided.
