Texas divorcee hosts 'freedom from (expletive)' garage sale

SPRING, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A Texas divorcee made thousands of dollars during a "freedom from (expletive)" garage sale Saturday.

Briana Barksdale hosted the sale to celebrate divorcing her “worthless, cheating, abusive husband. . . after 2 long years", according to a report from KPRC

KPRC reports Barksdale posted an ad for the sale on Craigslist titled “Divorce garage sale – Get him out of my life", attracting nearly 1,000 customers to her Spring, Texas home.

The ad, which has been removed but is still going viral on social media, reads in part  “fortunately, everyone eventually saw through his (expletive), and I'm free. I am also WAY more broke. But hell, divorce is expensive because it's worth it. Was it worth the more than $50,000 to get rid of him? Yes. Am I going to be eating ramen until I'm 50? Probably also yes. It's fine. Single ramen tastes better than married filet mignon anyday (sic)."

The sale was complete with doughnuts, mimosas, and a wedding dress bonfire.
