Two arrested in connection to string of Brownwood vehicle burglaries

BROWNWOOD, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Two suspects were arrested in connection to a string of vehicle burglaries in Brownwood earlier this month. 

Tommy Dale Holland III, 17, and Dalton Blake Crosby, 18, are charged with Tampering With or Fabricate Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair, Theft of a Firearm, and Possession of a Controlled Substance Under 1 Gram. Holland is also charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon.

A press release from the Brownwood Police Department states Holland and Crosby were identified as the suspects connected to a stolen vehicle and 5 vehicle burglaries reported throughout Brownwood on October 10, 2017.

The stolen vehicle was recovered and a few days later, the press release states a firearm stolen during one of the vehicle burglaries was recovered during a traffic stop, and that recovery prompted police to began investigating Holland and Crosby. 

During the subsequent investigation, more stolen property was recovered and additional suspects were identified, though they have not been publicly named. 

More arrests are expected to be made in this case, and police say additional charges on Holland and Crosby are anticipated as well.
