Vehicles, homes, businesses burglarized in Abilene

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Abilene Police are investigating several burglaries that happened on June 26, 2017, through June 27, 2017.

Reports filed with the Abilene Police Department say the burglaries happened at the following locations:

  • 1400 block of Beech Street - Around 6:40 a.m. Tuesday, a victim contacted police to report several hand tools worth about $1,000 were stolen from his vehicle.
  • 2100 block of Ross Street - Around 11:00 p.m. Monday, a victim called police to report three vehicles in the neighborhood were scratched and a pair of sunglasses was also stolen from one of the vehicles.
  • 5400 block of S. 1st Street - Around 9:00 p.m. Monday, a business owner called police to report an unknown suspect entered their business and took a box containing an undisclosed amount of cash.
  • 3300 block of S. 20th Street - Around 4:30 p.m. Monday, a victim reported a known suspect had entered her home several times, taking a variety of items worth hundreds of dollars. 
  • 700 block of Merchant Street - Around 3:30 p.m. Monday, a victim called police to report someone had kicked in a garage door and stolen a deep freezer and a dryer.
