The event helps many families in need during the Christmas season by providing toys for children. The drive has helped many families including the Strasser's who have five children. According to the parents, they wouldn't be able to provide for their children without the drive. As a way to show their appreciation, the Strasser family volunteered to help other families.
Around 600 families picked up toys from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Each child received two stocking-stuffer, two big toys from the warehouse and two additional smaller toys.
Volunteers showed up to wrap gifts for free including kids who benefited from the drive years ago. It took six weeks to prepare for the event and it has the been the biggest turnout, according to the co-founder.
