Ranger Woman in Jail Following Alleged Attempted Robbery

A woman from Ranger was taken to Callahan County Jail late Saturday morning after she allegedly tried to rob a convenience store in Clyde.

Patricia Medina, 29, is accused of entering Anita Food Mart in Clyde, claiming she had a gun and demanding money from the clerk. Clyde Police responded to the call at around 11 a.m. and apprehended Medina.

According to the police report, Medina was wearing a pair of pants that she used to cover her hands, suggesting she had a gun.
Another employee called 911, notifying police. The investigation reveals that the suspect did not have a gun.

Medina was arrested for aggravated robbery.
