If you noticed people covered in rainbow colors or the sky sprinkled with dust Saturday morning, you're not seeing things.

Hundreds were splashed with colorful powder as they ran in the Run or Dye 5K in Abilene. The event took place for the second time in less than one year at the Taylor County Expo Center.

Children and adults of all ages came from different parts of Texas to participate in the event. The Run or Dye 'Your City. Your Color. Your Vote.' Give Love® Tour started at 9 a.m. and lasted into the afternoon. The race was followed by an after-run party featuring DJ's, free giveaways and "Tie-Dye the Sky" where participants threw the colored corn starch into the air.

Run or Dye is the first color 5k to offer more than four color stations. People were able to use the Run or Dye color voting widget to choose what colors they get blasted with throughout the 5k route.

Run or Dye partnered with the local Big Brothers Big Sisters and will donate a portion of the race proceeds to them.
