Trick-or-treating may be a time for fun and candies for children, but for parents, safety is top priority.
Abilene's Safety City held its second annual fall festival Saturday evening. Hundreds of trick-or-treaters filled the streets practicing safe ways to collect candy.
Dozens of tables and games were set up by volunteer vendors and organizations for children to come experience a fun, safe way to enjoy the spooky holiday.
This year's event had over 20 sponsors which is double last year's count.
