Scientists say micro-chip could improve the lives of athletes with heart problems

Designed by researchers at Lisbon technical university, the chip is expected to go on sale this fall.

Its creators say the chip can detect d-n-a mutations that can cause hard-to-spot heart diseases.

Already developers have received thousands of orders from soccer organizations world-wide.
