With budget adjustments, small town hospitals are cutting back.

Hamlin Hospital was forced to layoff six employees due to the effects of the recent federal healthcare policies have had on their budget.

In smaller towns, there are no facilities like urgent care which forces people to go to the emergency room even for non emergency situations.

Due to certain health plans, the hospital is getting hit with the bills and little reimbursement.
