Cowboys Lose To George Fox In California

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. — Haridn-Simmons’ men’s tennis team dropped its match against George Fox, 6-3 on Tuesday afternoon at the Las Palamas Tennis Resort in Rancho Mirage, Calif.

The Cowboys received wins from Erich Bein at No. 1 singles and Andrew Eurek at No. 5 singles. They both won in straight sets. Sam May lost a tough three setter at No. 3 singles.

Bein and Michael McCullough dropped the No. 1 singles, 9-8. Mat and Eurek won 8-6 at No. 2 doubles and George Fox took the 2-1 lead after doubles with an 8-4 win at No. 3.

HSU will play at national-power Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Universities on Wednesday. HSU is now 2-4 and George Fox improved to 7-2 on the year.
