The ACU Wildcats and head coach Ken Collums are a week into Spring football practice, and as far as coach Collums is concerned, it is going well, so far.

Collums entered the Spring looking for 8 new starters on the offensive side of the ball and they needed depth on defense.

They don't have any answers, yet, but players on both sides of the ball are working hard.

Ken Collums said "Our guys are out there, we're having fun, we're learning. We got a lot of new guys, which is somewhat frustrating at times and sometimes it might not look the way that we want it to look right now, but everyday that we go out there I talk to these guys in terms of you're writing a resume everyday. What information are you putting on that resume, and you're not going to get the job yet, but the job comes in the fall, but the whole thing you're in training and you're writing your resume. So, we're doing a really good job. We've gone through four practices, and it should start looking a little bit sharper as we go. A lot of new faces, but that's the key, to take those steps."

Spring football practice continues for the Wildcats on Thursday. On Friday, ACU is scheduled to host an NFL Pro Day.
