With warm weather, the increase in bugs may affect the health of your pet. Local animal doctors say it's only the first week of continuous warm weather and already they have seen several animals come in with bugs.
The attackers are mostly mosquitoes, fleas and ticks. Though their size is small, the danger they can cause is great. Aside from heart worms, they can bring diseases like malaria, yellow fever and the west nile virus. Some diseases that these bugs carry are strong even to kill an animal as large as a horse.
