It's one of the few shelters that allows pets. They provide rooms to people who need somewhere safe during their transitions. They also have rooms to accommodate families.
The shelter relies on the community for donations. They also say that if you believe someone is a victim to domestic violence, not to ignore it. The shelter also has a twenty-four crisis hotline and someone is always there, day and night, to help people.
