Dr. Russell Reynolds died on July 3rd when the fireworks display that he was setting up for the town's annual Fourth of July celebration exploded.

The town of Comanche and others from surrounding areas gathered at the First Baptist Church in Comanche for his memorial service. Those who attended the service say the church was packed.

Russell was known as a local chiropractor, Sunday school teacher, sports coach, Kiwanis club member, and that is just to name a few. If you lived in the town of Comanche, locals say that you most likely, share a memory with Russell. He was someone that impacted everyone he met.

A scholarship fund has been set up in Russell's name. If you would like to donate, please contact the First Baptist Church in Comanche at (325) 356-2051.
