Two Arrested for Intoxicated Manslaughter Wreck in Snyder

SCURRY COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Two suspects have been indicted on intoxicated manslaughter changes in connection to a fiery wreck that killed a woman in Snyder on Christmas Eve 2015.

The Snyder Daily News reports Sarah Joann Cearley, 24, and Shanna Jolie Aho, 37, were both indicted on Intoxicated Manslaughter charges connected to the death of Amanda Gibbens, 22.

The newspaper report says Gibbens was a passenger in Cearley's vehicle when Aho's pickup struck the duo as they were attempting to turn into the parking lot of a gas station on North College Avenue in Snyder.

Cearley's vehicle caught fire and Gibbens became trapped inside, according to the newspaper report, which says she was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
