Bail has been set for a Fort Worth man accused of robbing a 7-11 at gunpoint Saturday afternoon.

Marvin Walton, 26, is at the Taylor County Jail on a $100,000. Four others who were with him were taken in for questioning and have not been arrested.

Abilene police have arrested one man and are questioning four others following an armed robbery at a north-side convenience store late Saturday afternoon.

Marvin Walton, 26, has been arrested after police say he robbed a 7-11 on N. 12th & Treadaway at gunpoint before 5 p.m. According to Sgt. Lynn Beard, Walton stole cash and the cashier's cell phone.

Minutes later, police spotted the same car Walton was seen driving in at the Best Budget Inn on South 1st. With Walton, were four other people. A police officer who identified the car said that three of the people agreed to be detained and questioned. Two others who may have been armed refused to step outside their room which prompted APD to call in the SWAT team.

Less than an hour later, everyone involved were taken to the law enforcement center. Walton is being charged for aggravated robbery.
