The ACU Wildcats hit the softball diamond for the first time this season in a double-header against Texas Lutheran.

Starting in the bottom of the second inning, the Wildcats were up 2-1, and added to it when Taylor Brown ripped a bases clearing triple. That made the ACU lead four.

The later in the second inning, Lyndi Smith hit an infield single, which Brown scored on to make the score 6-1 ACU.

ACU continued to add runs in the second inning when Courtney Flanary hit a single into left field to score another run. That made the score 7-1.

The Wildcats would go on to take game one 10-7, but they couldn't carry that momentum into the second game as Texas Lutheran picked up some revenge with a 4-3 win in game two.
