As teams advance to the next round of the playoffs, their opponents get tougher and tougher, and for the Albany Lions their opponent this week is an undefeated Iraan team who is coming into the game after a win over Munday last week. The Lions say it will prove to be a challenging game.

Denney Faith said "They've got an outstanding football team. When you get to this time of year, playing undefeated, if you're not ready and prepared then they can come and get you. So, they got a good football team. Fast on defense. They've got some good athletes on offense that can run, and they're big and fast in the pits, so we're going to have to execute and play well."

Hunter Munden said "I think we're just preparing for them and trying to get ready for them. Anything they can throw at us."

Ethan Nall said "They look like they have a pretty stout offensive and defensive line, but we're going to try and control the pits and keep running the ball."

Faith said "We've got to play good defense. This time of year that's kind of what we try and hang our hat on is being able to defend and play good defense, and then take care of the football."

The Lions game against Iraan is set to kick off at 4:00 Friday in Big Spring.
