The latest TGCA Softball Poll is out, and once again the Big Country makes an impressive showing with ten teams ranked among the state's best.

The Snyder Lady Tigers are the lone team ranked in Class 3A this week after they wrapped up a District 4-3A title. The Lady Tigers move one spot this week as a result and come in at number nine.

Hawley is once again the highest ranked team from the Big Country at number two in Class 2A. The Lady Bearcats wrapped up an undefeated regular season last week with wins over Cisco and Breckenridge.

Meanwhile the Comanche Maidens continued their rise in Class 2A this week. The Maidens jumped to number 14 after knocking off Clyde last Friday. The Lady Bulldogs on the other hand drop to number 21 as a result of the loss.

The majority of the teams ranked from the Big Country this week once again come from Class 1A.

The Albany Lady Lions make their debut in the poll this week after winning a district title on Saturday with a victory over Haskell.

That loss did not drop Haskell from the rankings this week, as the Maidens once again round out the top 30.

Stamford also held on to their spot as the highest ranked Class 1A team from the Big Country at number three in the state. Not far behind is Santa Anna, who remains in the top ten again this week. The DeLeon Lady Bearcats (26) and Gorman Lady Panthers (27) round out the six teams from the Big Country ranked in Class 1A this week.
