The Albany Lions rallied to defeat the Iraan Braves on Friday afternoon in Big Spring.

Iraan would be the first to strike with a touchdown pass from Devan Griffin to Aaron Conn for a Braves touchdown. They would eventually go on to take a 14-0 lead at the break.

In the second half the Lions offense would finally find pay dirt, and rally to tie the game at 14. They would again answer a Braves touchdown to make it 21-21 in the fourth quarter.

The score would remain tied until a field goal by Albany with just seven ticks left on the clock. That would prove to be the difference as the Lions survived by the count of 24-21.

The Lions will now take on Muenster in the next round of the playoffs.
