Anson Picks Up First Win Against Pied Pipers

The Tigers got their 2013 season off to a victorious start against the Hamlin Pied Pipers in the opening game of the Action Sports Champions Classic.

Hamlin struck first after a fumble by Anson Tigers was turned into a touchdown by new Pied Piper quarterback Caymon Georges to give Hamlin a 7-0 lead.

Anson would respond with at touchdown run by Mitchell Hudson. Then on the Tigers next drive, quarterback Jalen Garza found Hudson for another touchdown to give Anson a 14-7 lead.

Hamlin would answer with another touchdown to tie the game, but Anson would pull away to gake a 36-14 lead at halftime. They would eventually cruise to a 50-20 victory, and move to 1-0 on the season.
