The Ballinger Bearcats season came to an end Friday night at the hands of Sonora.

The Broncos would get off to a hot start at San Angelo Stadium with a touchdown pass from Michael Rollert to Ricky Martinez. That put Sonora up 7-0, but they were far from finished.

A short time later Chance Campbell would punch it in for another touchdown to put the Broncos on top 13-0. They would go on to lead 20-0 before Bearcats made their charge.

That's when Tanner Clifton found Dustin Kings for the Bearcats first touchdown of the night, and cut the lead to 20-7.

That would be about as close as Ballinger would get though as Sonora pulled away for a 67-28 victory.
