The Stamford Bulldogs moved on to the state quarterfinals with a convincing win over Sundown on Friday afternoon.

One Bulldog in particular was red hot out of the gates, James Washington. The Oklahoma State commit took his first three receptions and turned them into touchdowns, and also had fumble recovery that halted a Sundown drive.

Quarterback Bo Wimberly also had a solid outing against the Roughknecks with a touchdown run on offense, and three interceptions on defense.

By the end of the day the Bulldogs would pull away for a 42-7 victory and advance to the next round.
