Case Keenum heading to Denver

March 13, 2018 - According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Wylie High School graduate Case Keenum is heading to Denver to take over the quarterback duties in the Mile High City.

Keenum led the Minnesota Vikings this past season to the NFC Championship game after playing a key role in the "Minnesota Miracle" in which Keenum threw a prayer pass to Stephon Diggs with no time left. Diggs would then score to defeat the New Orleans Saints in dramatic fashion.

Keenum will join a Broncos squad that ranked 27th out of the 32 teams with 18.1 points per game. Keenum's Vikings ranked 10th with 23.9 points per game.

Reports have it that Keenum's replacement in Minnesota will be former Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins.
