Casey Hubble said "There was a good foundation when I got here. That's been the nice thing. A lot of times when you show up at a new job you've got to rebuild everything. That's not necessarily the case here. Breckenridge is known for pretty good athletes and pretty good football, and we're just taking the foundation that had been laid and trying to step on the gas."
Austin Dooley said "Coach Hubble, he's a great guy. I've gotten to know him really well these past two months he's been here, and he comes from a hard nose football team, Denton Guyer, which they've gone to state and they won state, and I think he's bringing in a lot good knowledge."
Cason Mayo said "Coach Hubble's a great guy. He comes from a winning school. I want to be a part of a winning school. Everybody on this field wants to be a part of it, and I'm sure this town does. We're ready to get going."
Hubble said "I expect us to be good. I'm not worried about what we look like week one or week two or week three. I'm more concerned with when November football gets here and it's time to get into the playoffs that we look like a team that's been well established."
The Hubble era will officially begin August 29th on the road when the Buckaroos head to Cisco to take on the defending state champion Loboes.
