A pair of Cooper Cougar soccer players made their college decision official on Wednesday.

The Lady Cougars Katie Lang signed her letter of intent to play for the ACU Wildcats.

Lang was a regular on all-district teams in District 2-5A and was the team's leading scorer this season.

She is looking forward to playing Division I soccer in college.

Lang said, "It's really exciting, getting to play D I because when you're little you never think you are going to go that far and do something that awesome. I blessed enough to get to, and I am really excited."

Chance Bonni signed his Letter of Intent to play for Southwestern College in Kansas.

Bonni was a big part of a Cooper team that advanced to the playoffs this season and won the school's first ever playoff game.

Now, it's time for Bonni to move on to the college ranks.

Bonni said, "I liked everything about the coach. He gave me a scholarship after the 1st day of practice. I liked the school. (We) took a tour  around their campus, and it was really great. I liked the town and the atmosphere. The good thing is that I fit in with everybody and it's a small community, but that's where I wanted to go."

Southwestern College, KS is a member of the NAIA.
