May 14, 2018 - Cisco College is eliminated from the NJCAA Region V tournament after a bench clearing incident in the 6th inning against McLennan Community College in Grand Prairie.
The 2nd-ranked Wranglers trailed MCC 11-8 in the 6th when they scored a run on a close play at the plate to make it 11-9 in favor of McLennan.
A couple of players pushed each other and then both teams cleared the benches.
Even though no punches were thrown, it's against National Junior College Athletic Association rules to leave the bench.
Every player from both teams was ejected. That led to a double-forfeit, and both teams were disqualified from the tournament.
McLennan is forfeiting the ruling. They will be heard on Tuesday morning.
For now, NJCAA is going to determine what school will represent Region V in the Junior College World Series.
