The Clyde Bulldogs are looking to one of the playoff teams from District 4-2A Division II.

They came within 1 victory of getting in back in 2012.

This year, Class 2A is allowing 4 teams into the playoffs from each district, and Rocky Smart's team plans to one of those teams in 2013.

Coach Smart said, "We definitely want to be in the mix when the end of the season gets here.  We missed the playoffs last year, but I really feel that with the Spring that we had and the things our guys did during the summer and last spring that we definitely have a chance to turn the corner and hopefully challenge for a district title and challenge for a playoff spot."

Addison Schreffler added, "I worked my b*** off this year in off season; we all did. We really look forward to going deep in the playoffs. We going to have a lot of good opponents this year, but I think we've stepped up our game this year, and we'll make a really good run for it."

The Bulldogs start the 2013 season with a tough one. They host Bangs at Bulldog Stadium next Friday, August. 30.
