The Clyde Lady Bulldogs are one of the best softball teams in the state this year.

Head coach Erica Jones and her team are in 2nd place in district play behind the 2nd ranked Hawley Lady Bearcats.

According to the players, the season hasn't been flawless, but they can see that they are getting better every time they take the field.

Bekah Chance said "I feel like we've gotten a whole lot better through the season. We've had a couple bad moments, but I don't know, just better."

Summer Walker said "We're starting to play as a team. We're playing a lot more closely, and we're starting to have the good team chemistry that we need to have to be able to go into the playoffs."

Coach Erica Jones said "Great compliment to our district. I think we have got some outstanding teams in our district that have gotten us really prepared for playoffs. So, I feel like that puts us ahead of the game."

The Lady Bulldogs finish the regular season on Friday with a home game against the Comanche Maidens.
